Product Description

In this hands-on session, we will show you how to make your own sauerkraut at home. It is simple to make with no expensive equipment. Just cabbage, a small amount of salt, and a few days on the kitchen bench fermenting.

Grow, Eat, Compost and Repeat is a series of food, gardening and composting workshops, displays and activities supported by Brisbane City Council during May to celebrate International Compost Awareness Week.

Bring a one-litre jar with a lid to take your sauerkraut home and your favourite sharp knife – you will be slicing cabbage.
