Paddington Community Garden at Trumper Park was established in 2008. It is located at the rear of the Palms Tennis Courts, adjacent to the Council Nursery, and access is from Quarry Street. The site is fenced and includes individual allotments, a shelter, water tanks, and seating.
Over 50 gardeners, 27 individual plots, 10 team plots for shared community produce, monthly get-togethers, workshops on ‘how to’ better understand growing sustainable organic produce in a small urban footprint, this garden was built by volunteers and council help to form an urban oasis. It’s busy, it’s fun, it’s relaxing.
