To build a sense of community by sharing in the growing and harvesting of delicious fresh garden produce, sharing ideas and knowledge, promoting healthy living, engaging in and nurturing creative activities.
Our Objectives:
Boorowa Community Garden is a shared space used to inspire, educate and build a sense of community.
A space that:
Welcomes all community members: young and old families any level of fitness (physical challenges do not matter here!)
Provides opportunities for:
Socializing sharing ideas and knowledge learning new skills experimenting encourages
Promotes:
Healthy lifestyles environmental awareness (water-wise techniques and repurposing)creativity through garden art and other activities participation from members of our wider community with relevant skills to share participation and support from the wider community and local businesses.
