Community Gardening in SA Project Report November 2006 Jacqui Hunter Community Gardening Project Officer Community and Neighbourhood Houses & Centres Assoc. (CANH) Download report (pdf 668KB) This report details the second stage of the Community Gardening in SA Project which was funded by the Department of Health, through the Health Promotion Branch as a one year contract. Building on recommendations from the initial project (Jan. 2003 – June 2004), the focus of this stage was how to sustain community gardens through: training strategies; partnerships; and supporting the volunteer base.
